If you’re looking to become the next big drummer, or simply want to learn the basics, you’ve come to the right place.

At Peter’s Rock School we offer simple yet effective drum lessons for beginners that bypass entry-level pad training. Students get behind a drum kit during their first lesson to start learning how to play the drums. Through private drum lessons, group rehearsals, and live performances, students will learn introductory rudiments to drum fills and solos. Peter has been teaching drum lessons to kids and adults for over 10 years.

When a student progresses beyond beginner drum lessons, they will move to Peter’s intermediate to advanced drum lessons programs, putting them on the path to mastery. During weekly private lessons, Peter guides students through advanced drumming techniques and training methods aimed at making them more skilled drummers. Advanced intermediary grooves, shifts and meters are taught and drilled until perfected. Drummers will ultimately be placed in bands and perform in live shows at our concerts.

Peco Peter Markovski is a musician and composer, specialising in Contemporary, Rock, Funk, Fusion, Jazz, Blues, Latin, Pop, Balkan and Gypsy Balkan percussion. Peter has been playing the drums for over 15 years and has been classified as being the number one Balkan drummer the Balkan has ever had. Peter’s passion and love for music, and of course, the drums, combined with his experience, has made him a leader in his field.

Despite having all this experience and being a professional drummer, Peter’s mantra is that music has no limits, and therefore, we can all learn something from all different types and styles of music and musicians. A true testament which has made Peter become the musician that he is today.

DRUM LESSONS FOR PRESCHOOLERS

It’s never too early to start playing music. Peter’s Rock School offers a proven method for teaching even the youngest students musical proficiency in our preschooler program. These beginner lessons are geared toward teaching preschoolers to play the drums and other instruments through hand percussion and tools that spark the imagination.

DRUM LESSONS FOR KIDS

Through private drum lessons and group rehearsals, children learn to play the drums and eventually perform the songs they love in a fun, supportive and comfortable atmosphere.

DRUM LESSONS FOR TEENS

Learning to play drums offers teenagers a creative outlet and at Peter’s Rock School we make it entertaining, fast and rewarding. In our innovative programs, students learn to play the drums through private lessons, group rehearsals, and live band performances while playing popular rock ‘n’ roll classics and modern hits.

DRUM LESSONS FOR ADULTS

We make learning how to play the drums for adults as effective and fun as our programs for kids by drumming to popular rock favorites with the goal for every student to perform live on stage in a band.
